Volcano Day is the only tour operator in León that is 100% owned and run by Nicaraguans. We aspire to be a platform for the empowerment of local talent.
We provide opportunities to local youngsters in the form of internships and training, so they can develop their skills and grow into a permanent position with us, as well as pursue other goals in life.
Our locals are given all the tools to overcome the barriers to becoming skilled professionals in their job, and to acquire valuable skills that will serve them later in life, such as language skills.
